First Teaching Practice (First Period)

Friday, February 20th was my first time in the basic group of Teacher Ovidio Torres. First i got to the classroom with a lot expectations about the group and the way i could to cover the content, but i was afraid because it would be my first time with collegers. After to went into the classroom i started to give them the pieces of papers i got for their names, then i talked with some students traying to get along with them and feel confortable with the group. I started the class with tha warm up called SHARADES.

The development of this activity was a little bit different i imagined before to prepare the class because i imagined more active and the students were to passive for doing it, but they participated well. after that i did the presentation and they got the idea of the topic. When they had questions they asked me and i was able to asnwer them. I only performed two activities because the time was not enough but after every activity i checked their answers for knowing if they understood clearly.

I felt more confortable 5 minutes after started the class and my nervousness flew away and i fell right now i  am going to perform following classes better than this. the feedback of my tutor was the perfect help i need for knowing what i need to improve and what i need to keep, but was an amazing and incredible experience that help to realize that i love my major and i want to work giving classes as soon as possible.

English it is not only a language but also it is culture and i love my major.
